Golfers were working harder than ever to improve. Yet the industry was still teaching the game the same way it had for decades.

Mac Todd had experienced every side of the game. Competitive junior golfer. Professional player. Coach.

After years of helping golfers improve, one thing became clear. Improvement was not a swing problem. It was a system problem.

Golfers were piecing together progress from separate places. A lesson here. A workout there. A club fitting somewhere else.

What they needed was one place where everything worked together.

Coaching. Training. Equipment. Mindset.

So in 2013, UGP began in a 300 square foot bay inside a small fitness facility. No blueprint. No investors. Just a belief that golf performance could be built differently.

Over the next decade, that idea grew into something much bigger. A new model for developing golfers.

Today, UGP has become one of the most respected performance systems in the game, developing players of every level, from beginners to tour professionals.
